Ford GT40 Men's Red T-Shirt La Victoire Champagne Celebration 1967 Le Mans 24 Hour

This T-shirt features the only all American built car to every win Le Mans and the beginning of the champagne celebration familiar to racing fans worldwide.

When Dan Gurney and A. J. Foyt won the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Ford GT40 Mark IV, Gurney spontaneously shook his bottle of Moët & Chandon and sprayed it on everyone in his vicinity: Henry Ford II, Carroll Shelby, and whoever else happened to be standing around the podium.

Built in America by Kar Kraft, Le Mans 1967 remains the only all-American victory in Le Mans history - American drivers, team, chassis, engine and tyres.

The Mk.IV ran two races, winning both.

The 12 Hrs of Sebring was won by Mario Andretti and Bruce McLaren and the 24 Hours of Le Mans by Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt.
